Silent Events assist festivals and conventions with the distribution of promotional and information material by sending customised marketing information directly to peoples’ mobile phones.
This form of information distribution during an event displays festival maps, event line-ups, sponsor advertising, promotional campaigns, competitions, and music and video samples onto bluetooth activated mobile phones.
The bluetooth operation can be activated remotely or onsite at the event location, dispersing information within the range of our bluetooth hotspots that cover the event and it’s surrounding areas. Statistical results of the marketing are available and followed up via email to measure the effectiveness of the campaign.
Our system of marketing is not intrusive and can be accepted or declined by the receiver on a permission basis. This technology requires no contact information, therefore the privacy of the receivers personal information is protected at all times.
All of the bluetooth transmissions are free, unlike costly SMS and MMS network charges, no matter how many thousands of mobile phones are reached.
Working closely with the festivals’ production team, on special request, Silent Events can stream a recording of audio or video of an artists’ performance to mobile phones while the act is still performing their set. This is an extremely effective strategy for both the music and entertainment industries to promote their artists and event by gifting the audience an exclusive souvenir.

Please notice unsuccessful connections (“Rejected /Other”) might be caused by the following reasons:
Connection has been manually rejected by the user
Bluetooth function has been switched off in the remote device
Remote device has been turned off
Remote device has gone of out the range
Bluetooth connection has been interrupted (many possible physical reasons)
Bluetooth connection has timed out
Remote device is discoverable, but not accepting incoming connections - several possible reasons:
Remote device is connected to other device
Remote device has a very low battery level
Remote device was connected to other device and connection was not closed properly
